Wedding collections

SAMPLES
We offer un-personalised samples of our existing collections to allow you to see the designs in real life. Swatches of additional colours can also be sent, but these will be blank. Due to the variables in design and print, we cannot guarantee that your finished order will be an exact match to any samples previously received.

TIMING
We will send you a PDF proof of your designs within 7 days of receiving your information. Timescales vary depending on the complexity of the project. However, the printing and production process typically takes no more than three weeks for digital printing, and we aim to have all orders completed and dispatched within 5 weeks of your order being placed.  

We aim to process your order as quickly as we can, however this is all dependant on receiving the required information and proof sign off in a timely manner. Timings may change due to circumstance beyond our control, but we will ensure we keep you updated on any changes.

POSTAGE
Orders are posted via recorded delivery, insured and require a signature to be received. We are not responsible for any delivery issues caused by client error or deliveries left in ‘safe spaces’ or with/signed for by neighbours. Please ensure your delivery address is correct when purchasing, and someone is available to accept the parcel. Any delays by the postal service are outside of our control, and we cannot be held responsible for problems caused by this.

We do offer international delivery and orders will be posted via recorded delivery with insurance. We cannot be held responsible for any delays caused by international carriers, and we are not liable for any custom fees or import duties. 

COPYRIGHT
All stationery, artwork and designs are owned and copyright of Vilsa Studio. All rights reserved and designs may not be reproduced in any form without the prior written consent of Vilsa Studio. Licenses can be purchased for different usages as required. Any illegal use of stationery, artwork or designs will be pursued.

PROMOTION
By accepting these terms, we reserve the right to include photos of all stationery, invitations and other designed goods in our portfolio, on social media, and in future sample packs. If you do not wish for photographs to be shared, please let us know as soon as possible. 

FINAL DELIVERY
Please check your order carefully upon receiving your items. We check everything before posting, but on rare occasions, any damage or incorrect quantities must be highlighted to us within 4 days of delivery.

PAYMENT
We require full payment before work can begin. This is processed by purchasing your desired items via our listings on our Etsy shop or full payment of invoice upon ordering via email.

CANCELLATIONS
If you change your mind within 24 hours of purchasing, and before design work has begun, a refund can be offered. Once work has begun on your stationery, we cannot accept cancellations or returns.

PROOF APPROVAL
We will send you a PDF proof of your designs within 7 days of receiving your information. We allow two rounds of small revisions to copy before additional costs are charged (£20 per additional proof required). As we offer predesigned collections, we do not allow design amends.

Please review your proof carefully and triple check the details are all correct, as we cannot be held responsible for any errors or spelling mistakes. We suggest asking someone else to also review this with fresh eyes. Once you are happy, we will ask you to confirm for the designs to be sent to print as shown.

We cannot print anything until this has been done, and do not take responsibility for any mistakes spotted after your sign off. If designs are signed off with mistakes and subsequently printed, Vilsa Studio will not take responsibility for these errors. If new prints are required, these will be charged at full cost.

We will always print the files that you have approved, and unless we deviate from this file, no refund or compensation will be offered.

PRINT & COLOUR
Computer monitors and web browsers vary greatly, and the colours of our designs may appear different in person. Whilst we do everything we can to ensure our imagery reflects our paper colours as best as possible, there is no guarantee that it will be an accurate representation of your final product.

All of our designs are black ink printed on a minimum of 300gsm FSC certified paper, with 170gsm envelopes as standard. Upgrades to letterpress or foil come with additional costs and longer timeframes. These are printed by hand, and therefor may have some small differences between pieces.

CALLIGRAPHY
Calligraphy elements are individually created by hand, meaning that irregularities can occur in the final product. Please view our terms below for our full calligraphy services.


Calligraphy studio

PAYMENT
Please note, this does not apply to orders of place cards from our Etsy or online store, these terms apply to specific calligraphy commissions.

Orders under £200 must be paid up front, in full before work begins. For orders over £200, a non-refundable payment of 50% of the total order quote is required as an upfront deposit to schedule a project. The remaining balance is due upon completion of the project, and before posting. No items will be shipped without full payment.

The 50% deposit is a non-refundable fee and if an order is cancelled, the client remains responsible for any additional costs of work completed that exceeds the deposit amount. If cancelled before any work has been completed, partial refunds may be provided at the discretion of Vilsa Studio.

MATERIALS
Where the client is supplying the materials for work, an additional 25% of the required quantity need to be provided. For example, if 100 cards are required, a minimum of 125 cards must be provided. Any un-needed extras can be returned with the final order. If the material is for a live event, we will require a few samples before the event to ensure that it is suitable for our supplies. 

We can provide our own blank place cards in your preferred colour and size. There are no extra costs for using our papers or cards instead of your own.

INFORMATION
Please provide your guest names as a numbered list in a word document, or separate in rows of a spreadsheet eg:

1) Name one 2) Name two 3) Name three, etc.

Names will be written or printed exactly as typed, so please provide any required suffixes and double check for spelling mistakes before submitting as any mistakes will need to be repurchased. Any spelling errors or mistakes made by Vilsa Studio will be corrected immediately and posted at no extra charge to the client.  

TIMING
The production process typically takes no more than two weeks for name cards up to 150 pieces, and we aim to have all orders completed and dispatched within 3 weeks of your order being placed. Larger orders or more complex calligraphy may take longer, and timelines will be discussed on a case by case basis.

Rush orders can be accommodated at an additional cost of 50% of the original order total. Please contact us before ordering to ensure our schedule allows.

OTHER
On-site events outside the city of Glasgow, Scotland are subject to travel and accommodation fees depending on the location.
